Steph Curry Confirms White House Stance

This week rumors swirled that the Golden State Warriors had decided as a team not to visit the White House after winning the NBA Finals [click here if you missed that].

Steph Curry admits he's turned off by the idea...

In a recent press conference Steph explained,
"Somebody asked me about it couple months ago, like a hypothetical, “If the championship were to happen what would I do and I answered, ‘I wouldn’t go.’"
"I still feel like that today. But obviously the team is going to have a conversation. This is a moment we all need to enjoy together and nothing should distract from what we were able to accomplish together."

Why - can he regurgitate a reason. Waiting ...

Who is he to disrespect our President - like him or not the collective voted for him. This is the behavior that feeds the feud between the Democrats and Republicans. Curry read the headlines.

Curry is leader on the basketball court (maybe he's not), evidently needs cultivation on how to bring that off the court.

9:55 - Frankly who cares if a sports team does or does not go to the White House? There are WAY larger issues than these wedge issue distractions. More troops moving into Afghanistan, the national debt skyrocketing, Bloomberg predicting a global currency collapse. I could give two sh*ts about who will or will not meet with the President unless it's the Commerce or Treasury Secretaries or world leaders.

955 this is a democracy it's ok to disrespect the president or any politician by taking a political stance against their policies. Nowhere is it required for a private citizen to go meet the president for whatever reasons. He clearly ain't Kanye or Steve Harvey boot licking asses.

If he does not want t go then he does not have to go. People believe being Anerican is going along with whatever government officials do. Being American is having the ability to stand up against them. That is American.

@9:55 Fu*k Trump, with his lying ass. HILLARY CLINTON is the rightful president. The lying racist incompetent S.O.B. is NOT my president, and NEVER will be. I don't have one, and judging from the state of the country, no one does as well. Our once great nation is the laughing stock of the world. "Good for Mr. Curry!"

@ 10:09 Curry is representing a group of people. No excuses for his egoistical, idiotic behavior - you put a ball in a basket - end of story.

I would never set foot in a house of someone that doesn't like me or I them. It makes no sense. This is not a MANDATORY obligation of any sports team. It is just a tradition, and eventually traditions are broken...Sh!t happens!!!

@955
The collective did not vote for him, the electoral college did. Clinton won the popular vote. Just a reminder.

@Monique
After several congressional and FBI investigations into Benghazi and her private email server. What should H. Clinton be in prison for? I am asking seriously. Maybe you know something I, Congress or the FBI don't know.

@ 1:05 PM Get some r-e-a-l knowledge opposed to spoon-fed talking points for dummies. CLINTON IS NOT IN JAIL because ALTERNATIVE FACTS for dummies do not hold up in a court of law. Just ask that lying disgraceful orange pu@@y grabbing incompetent moron, Trump. Don't bother, the idiot would just lie like he did on President Obama for EIGHT PLUS years. Girl bye, LMAO

@ 9:55 take time to read why the Electoral College was created - it was to offset the population of the bigger cities/area, etc.. If no Electoral College, all Presidents would be from the larger areas of the country. It is called EQUALITY.

It is really interesting and amazing that the founding fathers had the foresight to encase this method.

^^^^ Hillary & Friends misread/ignored the Electoral College count. They thought they were above that...a-a-a-a no.

Tom Brady declined his invitation to the white house after his team won the Super Bowl two years ago because he was not a fan of Obama and he did't agree with his policies. Curry and company no doubt feel the same way about current regime and are declining their invitation.

Tom did not go but his team went - yes, it is or should be an INDIVIDUAL decision. This blip is inferring the team is not going.
