Ok, real behind the scene footage. I am sure people will soon her story to match their desires. I actually like the daily footage showing her in her best light. She was an incredible performer with an amazing voice and she gave her all every show. I saw her live and she was one of my favorite concerts ever. I would like for her to be remembered for her body of work and not whY she did to her body down the road. I mean after all she made all of her dreams come true. She fulfilled her purpose.

Please let this woman rest. Why do they have to sh*t on her legacy? Ugh!

I refuse to believe this woman didn't have so,e control over her career. Everyone keeps saying they wanted her to do this and do that and made her do this and that. After being in the industry for so long there is no way she didn't have some control over it.

10am - She allegedly had borrowed against future earnings during the depths of her drug addiction, so when she went back to work, she was literally working like a slave with no say over concert bookings, personal appearances, etc.

Remember those awful shows in Australia where she allegedly went on stage with the flu and sounded awful? Yep, she allegedly had no choice. Clive doesn't play.

I'm tired of analyzing Whitney's life.

Everyone knows her story.

She ain't coming back.

Whitney signed a $100 million dollar deal circa the year 2000. She released two more studio albums after that but none of them sold worth much. Her voice was pretty much gone by then and her drug addiction was out of control.

Clive was backed against a wall since Whitney was his main moneymaker. That's why he switched gears, started J Records, signed and propped up Alicia Keys. He needed a win cause Whitney put him in a financial hole.

For this reason he paid Whitney dust for years. Whitney later talked about being hurt by the estrangement, but Clive is about his money and Whitney wasn't holding up her end of the deal.

They reconciled at one point (2009, when her last studio album was released), but Clive didn't fully collect on the debt until Whitney's death in 2012.

After that he promptly RETIRED lol

Wow another one? Lifetime wasn't enough? I Wonder who's profiting. Follow the money trail and I bet its the usual suspects.

I miss seeing her gorgeous face and hearing that amazing voice. Im a 1981 baby so all I wanted to be was Whitney when I grew up. It was so sad to watch her fall bc I truly remember the black princess she was. I only wanted to see Waiting to Exhale bc she was in it! I remember being so happy when Bobbi Kris was born, like they were family.

Whitney, Michael, Prince, Janet, and even Madonna mean so much to those of my generation. Looking forward to seeing this doc, if only for the live footage.

Seeing Celine Dion performing at the Billboard Awards, all I could do is think of Whitney. I miss those powerhouse signers performances. It's bad that is a rarity now a days

If the rumor is true that Clive Davis drugged Whitney Houston, I will never make fun of her again.

@10:16 No I never saw the videos from Australia but I'll look for them thax. @10:36 Yeah I heard about that one. Do you know if Clive and a few people knew Whitney was dead when they kept the party going or if everyone knew that was there. ThenGrammys party.

Chaka knew and would not attend. Yes, it is rumored quite a few people knew that night and still partied, saying they did it in tribute to her. Her body was still in the hotel room for an investigation. Shame.

When I said in 1992 that whitney houston was a million dollar crackhead, no one believed me.
