Dallas Cowboys Dez Bryant and ESPN's Jemele Hill Spar Over NFL Protests

Last week Dallas Cowboys Dez Bryant criticized Colin Kapernick for refusing to stand during the national anthem to protest unpunished police brutality in the Black community [click here if you missed that].

Dez and ESPN personality Jemele Hill go back and forth over his politics...

It all started with this innocent Tweet from a non-Cowboys fan who served Dez at Blaze Pizza.

and then Jemele popped in with this.

But Dez had time yesterday cause...

Jemele backed down, but just a little.

it's weird how so many black players are anti colin. he is a guy fighting against police brutality that dis proportionally affect them as black men. i guess cuz they got a little money in their pocket and can bang ugly white girls, they think they have come up. how is colin not standing up bothering your life? it's just interesting how so many of them are speaking out against him, when they could just mind their business. but then again, being a coon pays.

Dez and his body are as delicious as dove chocolate until he opens his mouth to speak.
Football players were crying slavery left and right when owners didn't want to pay up. Now a lot of them want to play stupid when one of their own is blacklisted for speaking out against something of significance.

You can rape, assault people, have DUI's, shootings, be a stink like Tebow, etc. and still find a job in the NFL but social activism/freedom of speech will leave a decent QB out in the cold.
I'm done with the NFL.

Black women's number one enemy is not white supremacy, it is the self hating non woke black man.

no she didn't. ESPN got criticzed last week for holding a mock draft that look like a slave auction.

didn't anyone noticed that Kap WASN'T at the protest????? that fool didn't even vote.

@9:27

cuz folks know Colin ain't for real.

check the timeline:

colin was standing for the anthem when he was playing in the Superbowl against the Ravens.

he was standing for the anthem when the 49ers were standing up for him against that rape accusation from that black girl in the hotel room.

^^^^Hey Slave Mind that doesn't excuse the fact that the NFL is turning a blind eye to racial injustices.

Get a life, everyone has the right to believe what they want, when they want too - respect for all. God Bless America!

who knows if colin is real or not, to me the bigger issues i find interesting that the nfl is going out of their way to keep out someone is making a simple protest statement. he ain't out here cussing folks out, not standing down with a vulgar shirt, or a middle finger up or something. he just bends down silently. yet, as chrissy says the nfl has no problems with herion heads, rapists, or drunks. the bigger issue is that the nfl see this as a huge threat to their expolitation of black players. just imagne if all the black football players walked off that field. football would be over. the sports industry relies heavily on the bodies of black men. they are billionares living to old age..while black players make a few million, wind up with destroyed bodies, brain damage, and then usually broke. they can't afford for these men to become activits because it hurts THEIR pockets.

His voting or not don't have shit to do with the flag issue. He is taking a stand that has cost him. But he's not broke. He's never gotten into a lot of fuckery that a lot of players do.

He ain't got 27 million baby mamas. His stance was against the po po killing young black men and women with no fuckin' accountability. Cause if you even beat your child, you doing time.

As for voting I have voted all my adult life and I question why. I vote and may never do it again, after this fiasco of an election.

I love pro football. But I will boycott them and their sponsors until the hire him. They did a poll Brady and 2 others voted top QBs. Kap was next. He ain't even playing.

Now even some white players are speaking out in his defense. So go get bent. Ppl like Kap change the world with a small gesture.

@12:21pm Folks are slowly realizing that their individual votes simply don't count. Electoral must be removed

Thanks.

@5:45 you are so right. Electoral must be abolished. Been around since 1700s. Because regular folks out numbered rich folks, they needed to be be in control.
