Future Reacts to Jay Z Money Phone Explanation?

Last month Atlanta rapper Future shaded Jay Z over Jay's 'Story of OJ' lyric where he bashed rappers who hold money to their ears [click here if you missed that].

Jay Z clarifies the lyric but Future is still salty...

Jay Z tells Rap Radar,
“I didn’t even tell people to stop using the money phone. I didn’t say that. I had to listen again like ‘How is this being misinterpreted?’ because I just said it ain’t money to us. It ain’t. That’s just an honest statement.”
And that's when Future fired back.

Future stop it. Even in a world where you were making the same money as Jay you wouldn't be taking home the same amount because you got a thousand baby mamas getting their cut off the top and Rocko Da Don is right after that.

Go make more music about using drugs crackhead

Damn nigga and all NIGGAS. You don't have a bank/checking account to put your money in? It just goes to show niggas ain't use to shit. Dumb fuck

@11:58 "Your" bank account does not belong too you that is why it is able to become closed frozen garnished without YOUR permission read the bottom of statements or the ATM cards where under MEMBER states FDIC that is the ONLY member for the commercial banks educate yourself

Ain't used to shit and won't have shit in 5 years. Straight dummies place money to their ears. Learn how to diversify and not play with it, learn how to make your money work for you so you can retire without having to push a mop around at 65. We just saw early this month, one of the legends in hip hop who had the biggest, mainstream crossover song EVER was working as a security guard at 60 before he was arrested for stabbing a homeless man.

That big lip bitch tried to end the money phone in the same way he tried to kill auto tune, but there's pics of that big lip bitch holding money when he was their age, he's just a damn hater. Lied and said he bought that 4.5 million dollar painting anonymously by basquait but word on the street is a billionaire bought it. Why haven't we seen that big lip bitvh hang it in his house or show it off. This nigga never did shit to display real wealth except live off whatever advances live nation provides. That money goes from live nation to whatever vendor is rendering services to mr big lip. He ain't got enough cash to trump the new up and coming artist. Yea forbes claim him and beyinfertile are billionaires but that's not a trusted source, fortune magazine is, and they have a list of over 200 richest Americans of 2016 and beyinfertile or lip-z ain't up there bloop. Don't come for future he getting that new money meanwhile lipz stuck on old contracts paying old bills not getting shit! How about that j hotel that flopped, he still paying the bill on that😂

Jay was throwing around money in videos for YEARS pouring out expensive champagne on women for YEARS. Expensive cars for YEARS. Multiple chains around his neck for YEARS. Bragging about all his paintings and telling us what he had and what we would NEVER have.
He rhymed about selling crack, beating bitches and respecting the shooter.

So because he now qualifies for social security with his old ass he don't want nobody to look rich but him? GTFOH

I dont know not one of Future's songs but I do know that Jealous Jay always comes for someone he considers has talent and a threat #drake.

Future's $100 bills look the same as Jigga man's is the point. Just cause you grandpa status dont try and tell me to be humble so you loom like YOU winning. Not when you was selling a white tee with roc a wear ironed on it for about $49.99.

The nerve of this nigga.

I'm pretty sure that's Jay's point, he's BEEN doing this for YEARSSS. What's he look like doing the SAME SHIT now. He's evolved and so has his rap game. It's a natural progression and I'm here for it. Love him.

12:08 ~ I don't care for Jay-Z and am not sure for his motives after allegedly sabotaging other Black businessmen for years BUT perhaps Future should listen.

We've all had the occasion to meet old-school Black businessmen, 12:08 and while they didn't depend on banks to grow wealth, we can all agree that fiat currency held to your ear builds nothing long term.

That money is better off converted to gold, in a safe, under a mattress or even in an old shoe. Holding it to your ear does what except tell the robbers and IRS you're in possession of a lot of cash?

Great point 12:12. Remember Kurtis Blow just had a heart attack on a bus stop fighting with his son. Even the late Joan Rivers said in her documentary that if she'd invested wisely as a younger person she wouldn't have been working well into her 70s.

@ 1:39 pm. yeah, it took him 50+ (cuz that nigga been 47 for at least 3 years now) to evolve. which really isn't saying much. he still the same jay. he still bragging on the new album just tried to frame it in a way that he was "schooling" black folks about financial responsibility (look at me with my 4.5 million painting investment that you broke niggas don't have) jay is the last person to listen to economic advice. he is just had to sign another 10 year contract with livenation or they were about to get that ass. he older and probably tired with corns on the feet but still having to get on stage for the next year or so to make them back their money. he about to get sued by prince's estate, tidal is still drowning, and plus all the other lawsuits hanging over his head. who knows maybe the money phone people are the ones doing it right. they have cash money and not living off livenatin support. i bet future owns a house to. with all his babymamas but still lol

Bitch, that wasn't suppose to be a thesis statement! This is a fucking ghetto blog with a comment section. You're complaining about run on sentences? Typos? Whatever! Get the fuck over it! Or don't.

That's exactly my point, they're not thinking about the future. They could invest $20k a year into an IRA account and have a nice nest egg by the time they're 65. Even in corporate america, you have highs & lows, good & bad years when it comes to success but if you're smart, you can ride the storms.

Jay has become laughable. He has the nerve to diss others and their families but claims to be offended by Kanye talking about his wife and daughter.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander Jay. All smoke and mirrors - what's really going on behind the scene.

I would respect Jay Z if he kept it real (100) about how his ugly azz hated Prince sexy azz (R.I.P), Nas baby looking face ( kelis said on a 2006 interview on his stalking questions of them, look it up), Dame Dash (Aaliyah) etc.. Now he's getting played out, so he'll throws future, Eric benet. Then turn around to blame kanye to keep him under the bus for sales. LAME! Coming from ole Skool in a long future, he's gonna have to check around his shoulders. Just Saying.....

Meryl Streeps black son is very mad.

That's all

Jay's point was that real money is in your assets, investments and so on. He's trying to say that establishing generational wealth is more important and significant than holding bandz to your ear. At least that's what I got from it.

Lol...Future still mad about the double entendre about the kid & football....LOL. He wanna fight.
"Putting money to your is a disconnect, we don't call that money over here".
