Seal Bashes Current Music Trends

Seal not impressed with the current state of the music industry...

In an interview promoting his new album 'Seal Standards' Seal tells The Metro
''The thing of celebrity... I've never been attracted to that. I don't like that word 'celebrity'. It implies famous for the sake of being famous.
''That's never appealed to me. I consider myself a musician and a singer. I like that. It pertains to talent and having an ability to doing something exceptional.
''For the most part, I find the stuff I hear on the radio is just empty.''
''There just isn't the money to make records like before. Now you have this dominant factor of people making what they feel is music but it has no story in it.''

I’m excited to finally reveal details of my new album SEAL STANDARDS. This is the album I always wanted to make. I grew up listening to music from the Rat Pack era, so recording these timeless songs was a lifelong dream. It was a true honour to collaborate with the same musicians who performed with Frank Sinatra and so many of my favourite artists, in the very same recording studios where the magic was first made. I hope you enjoy this collection of songs as much as I enjoyed recording them. STANDARDS is released globally Nov 10 and available to pre order now. Link in my bio! #SealStandards Tracklist: 1. Luck Be A Lady 2. Autumn Leaves 3. I Put A Spell on You 4. They Can’t Take That Away From Me 5. Anyone Who Knows What Love Is 6. Love For Sale 7. My Funny Valentine 8. I’ve Got You Under My Skin 9.
