How about declining to perform?

A woman being used by the male elite - 15 min of fame.

How about declining to perform?

But then how would she get the attention she is craving?

@7:47

She chose to protest her way not yours. Crackas could've stayed home and worked this stolen land themselves and brutalize their own.

But they didn't. So this is just a small bit of blowback. There's blood on everything they touch.

At some point all the chickens will come home to roost. Trust me. That's the fear white folks. At some point there is Cosmic Retribution.

Exactly@ JDent

Don't peeps realize the racist white agenda is to silence us and intimate us into NOT protesting???

Kudos to this woman and every black person out here fighting that good fight.

Change comes through struggle not criticizing those who are willing to put their lives, livelihood and reputations on the line.

@8:39

Sounds like triple trolls to me.

Lol @ the reaction of the miliatry dude behind her, he was like not that shit again

She can kneel all day long and it wont change anything. America will always be run by racist white males. That will never change. You are a fool to think otherwise.

Anonymous said...

^^^ and that is why America won't last long anyway.

I troll it like I see it said...

I guess *shrugs*.

There is no reason for her to accept the opportunity if she was planning to kneel. No one said she can't protest.

Well this should garner her some MUCH needed attention. Since tagging along with the K trash and trying to be Rihanna 2.0 hasn't worked.

Chick has ZERO personality. And her "songs" could be sang by anyone. She ain't the one Jeff move on.

Well, young lady you just ruined whatever opportunity you had locally and nationally of advancing your career. agree with @7:47 AM you should have declined to perform.

Anonymous said...

why decline when you can make a statement on a national level. as stated justine skye is still pretty unknown, despite being around for several years. no skin off her nose to kneel done. she still got ot do what she loves, singing and got a dig in too. she'll be alright.

@11:17

Unlike Rihtard, Justine can actually sing and is incredibly gorgeous. Justine is trying to be like her little friend Kylie Kartrashian, who she doesn't need to be.

Lately a lot of comments have been reading suspiciously like that of kkkraka Trump supporters. Is it just me? I know it isn't just me.

You are right krackers are here. Krackers claim they hate us but they stay sniffing up our asses. Just an observation has finally been exposed as the racist kracker that he/she is. Believe me they are all in the comment section. They are roaches can't get rid of them.

When are sheep going to learn that they aren't achieving a damn thing by kneeling. First of all, kneeling is a show of submissiveness. If you want to prove a point in this world, you protest by hitting 'em in their pockets! Stop suiting up and getting on the field to entertain massuh like the obedient slaves you are. Stop tuning in to the games and helping the networks ratings, which will then result in a loss of advertisement. And stop accepting invites to sing the National anthem for opening games. That's how you protest!

Caucasians are scared there fear and intimidation factors are not working as well as they use to.This is causing great concern and fear amongst the the ones that are fearful of the push back. No one with standards and morals that lives a life of live and let live wants to be treated in such a demoralized way. Where caucasians made there mistake is when they put ALL POC in one box.Even when POC were following unjust laws of caucasians it was always a problem. Caucasians found something to be enraged about gathered there mobs found a Person of color 2 lynched and fed the beast that controls there being. But that beast is always hungry. If you take a child and tell them everyday that there is something wrong with them they start to believe it. This has been POC diet from the day they could understand. It is anywhere and everywhere we go.It was only a matter of time before the dam would start to leak and break forth. Why do you think they want to keep there guns because they are terrified at the notion that they maybe on the verge of repeating what they have sown for decades.

What are we (black people) really protesting? The 'thugs' who resisted arrest and disobeyed the law and didn't follow police orders:Michael Brown, Eric Garner et al? Or the ones like Sandra Bland, Tamir Rice, the teenage girl in the bathing suit who was manhandled by a police officer at a swimming pool party? The latter deserves a protest as well as the violence and crime plaguing our communities across the U.S.

She was PAID to do a job. How about putting her money where her mouth is and giving to the cause. Anyone can take a knee for attention.

Anonymous said...

Glad she did it. Thanks and kudos.

Seems to me some can only understand in your face logic. Taking a knee is not harming anyone it's your right or mine to peacefully protest. Don't treat every person of color as if they are a extreme threat to you. We are all from different backgrounds. Every person of color is not cut from the same cloth. Inner cities are rough and some have made it hard for the decent people who live there. Do you not think that the majority of the people in the inner city would love to flee. This is all to tiring,unless you have walked a mile in the shoes of someone you so adamantly berate you should consider....

@2:06 PM Sounds like you walked in those shoes so what's the solution?

She has a beautiful voice and I applaud her actions. The people that paid her were probably in on it, which might have something to do with why she did this at the end of the song instead of the beginning or middle. The audience didn't know whether to clap or boo, so they pretty much just let it go. It was over before they had time to give it some thought. I like her voice enough to pay to see her in concert or buy some of her songs. She sounds better than a whole lot of people with record deals and concert tours.

@ 8:28 AM, There are so many more cases and instances that do not make the news beyond local or independent media. It's easy to put a spin on the cases we've already heard about or repeat what we've been told.

Freddie Gray did not deserve to be tossed around in the back of a police vehicle. He should have been transported securely. He probably shouldn't have even been arrested. The women that were raped by police officer Holtzclaw did not deserve it. That should have never have happened. He ended up being punished and incarcerated, but he still had supporters that were in denial about what he did or didn't believe he should have been punished for it. The B.S. continues. There will be more victims of police violence and negligence to come.

@4:31 PM This is 8:28AM I was thinking Freddy Gray all along and I forgot to mention him. His case was very tragic and upsetting. I agree with everything you say about Freddy Gray. I know there's more cases out there that haven't been publicized. Can't get to everyone.
