Well, its about freaking time! These women CAN SING!!! I remember a clip of singing on Monique's couch on the Monique Show! They sounded like Angels! Voices were so Beautiful and after all those years! Loved The Monique Show, one if not the best late night talk show Ever, Pure Entertainment! I loved SWV, had there posters and magazines! Thanks Mom for buying those earlier poster and magazines! I cant believe this is there Soul Train award, have they honored by BET, VH1?? yet all these years and hits!?? I don't believe it...who dropped the ball? What happened?

Well Luke (like you said at the award show) you got company...

Congratulations SWV!...but man this was long OVERDUE!!!

Good for them. The 90's were so abundant with talent that a lot of great acts missed out on awards.
It's good to see my girls finally getting some kind of recognition.

wow, even during the height of r&b in the 90's. they were extremely popular. and they never won even a soul train award? those are usually a given. bizarre. well, congrats to them now. i miss the relatable image of past black women singers. now you feel like you have to look like you step out of a porn magazine with the extreme hair makeup plastic titties AND booties now. smh lol

was one of these girls eating puzzy to make ends meet?????

thats bad they never received an award. All the songs above were hits and associated with good times and great memories.

But today awards are given out to people who you can't even understand the words to their songs.

Slightly OT: Taj and Erica Dixon have a bone structure to die for. Gorgeous women.

I think EnVogue (with Dawn Robinson) and TLC were the industry favorites during SWV's initial run. Meaning they were going to get the accolades by default because there were too many acts that could outsing TLC, including SWV, Xscape, and Jade.

Coco alone could out sing T boz and kandi. Don't know who the lead to Jade was I do remember don't walk away boy but they sang as a trio. As did tlc and xscape as a foursome. Coco had leads and she oretty much was the voice of the group.

They were done dirty plain and simple. If Beyonce became a star AND got destiny's child awards AND became successful without the pipes Coco had/has swv deserved more. I tgunk Cico started that nail shit and definitely had every gurl wanting ti wear her REAL hair in a dubey. Unlike the blond lace front phase that has yet to go away.

Congratulations ladies long overdue. Say what you want, but SWV is still performing and making money.

"Right Here" was my jam!

4:25 TLC was never an R&B singing group, they were an image and performance group. T-Boz is no singer, she did low sing-talking. Left Eye was no singer, she was a rapper, Chili was no singer, she was eye candy that could somewhat hold a note. Singing was never their draw. It was the hip hop image that sold.

They need to get it together.

@4:02 there's no image to see with them. No looks..no youth..no fantasy. It's hard to market a singer when nobody wants to be them. A star has to have a quality that makes the fan either want to be like them or fvck them. And Coco has a bad attitude.

Can we get kinky tonight?
How could I forget about that, the vocals, the singing, the notes, the riffs, the melody
Hot! Still a hit!

10:19 pm
Um! Steven Tyler and Aerosmith, The Rolling Stones, Kandi and Xscape, Jodeci, TLC, still out here being marketed! Need I say more and these ladies are still beautiful and all of them can actually sing, and they're still making money moves doing shows here and overseas!
