Jennifer Hudson Wearing Out Her Welcome at The Voice?

NBC insiders claim Jennifer Hudson's days are numbered on The Voice...

From Radar Online
Jennifer Hudson’s first season as a coach on the NBC’s The Voice will likely be her last, as RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that her “diva antics” were just way too much handle for the cast and crew!
“Jennifer does not show up on time and is a complete diva when she does. She is constantly complaining about her outfits and is always unhappy with her hair and make-up,” spills the behind-the-scenes snitch.
Lately, Hudson has been constantly plugging her own production company, JHud Productions, from her judging chair.
“She is using this platform for her own gain and she got reprimanded by execs for it,” the source said, adding, “And she still continues to do it anyways.”

Wasn't this same headline written about Alicia Keys earlier this year?...

Jennifer needs to stick to Broadway, she's not a fan favorite at all so her trying to do these popular shows is just pointless.

Why do these folks have such a sense of entitlement? Jhud has never been very mainstream popular, so I don't understand where this is all coming from. But she wasn't pleasant on AI so maybe it's just her.

I'm not a fan, never was, never will be. *shrug*

She's one of those people I've just never liked. Something about her rubs me the wrong way. She oversings, her songs are mediocre as hell, and I don't give a damn what anyone says, she wasn't that good of an actress in Showgirls.

Showing up on CP time. Not good.

I call complete foul on this story. As someone that watches The Voice, I can say that Jennifer is great on the show but the show doesn't care for black women. Black people hardly ever win despite singing better than everyone. If you visit The Voice's Facebook page, you will see that a majority of its audience is old whit people that hate the sound of black voices. Those white commentors always say the black people's voices are terribke, why is she screaming the sound, why is the singer singing so loud, or why arent they using proper english while singing the song. The comments are brutal for black singers.

Everybody that watches The Voice knows that Kelly Clarkson is going to be a judge next year so Jennifer won't be there. The Voice seems to never be about the contestants. Its all about the judges, specifically Adam Levin and Blake Sheldon. County and Americana singers always win. However, winning The Voice in America means nothing. No one who has ever won has become a famous singer. Some never pit out an album (Alicia Keys background singer won a long time ago but he never put out an album and it was rumored that the show's executives didnt want him to be the winner that year).

When black singers are the judges, you can tell they are pressures to pick majority white contestants for their teams. I noticed that with Pharrell and Usher. Black women singers were like kryptonite for Pharell and Usher. Jennifer and Christian were the only judges that seemed to pick real sangers that overwhelmingly were black and we all know that The Voice watchers hate Christina and now they hate Jennifer.

Im obligated to support her because shes from Chicago but im with 11:28. I never liked that she's not sharp. How can you represent the Chi and not slay with your wardrobe? She's definitely not famous enough to be pulling these antics, but maybe being plugged with Oprah gives her entitlement.

^^^^I'm sorry for the typos. But y'all get what I'm saying. Something is not clean in The Voice's milk. It's judging is shady.

I couldn't care less what she wears. After the way she was dressed for the Oscars years back, it can't get much worse for her. I rarely watch the show and when I do the last thing I'm interested in is what the dudes and heifers in the chairs are wearing. I tune in for the talent, which seems to be lacking and why I rarely watch it. The music is a bit too corny and vanilla for my taste.

wow - how quickly people forget what a hard life she has had. Her family...murdered. Yet, she still has some light in her life. Let her enjoy it, man. She isn't hurting anyone....

I had no idea she was even on the voice, I'm shocked!

does she still sing? her last album was good, even not dated. she's a decent actress. i would say forget this reality tv show mess, and keep working on my acting skills. i'd image she makes more making films, as she ask for higher fees with her Oscar win. I'd leave the voice to Alicia Keys whose music career pretty much over now.

Can't stand the bobble head bitch. She went and got surgery out of vanity but still have her sister obese and capable of dying.
Was so humble in the beginning then spoke of Beytacky treating her horrible and then she turns around and becomes exactly that horrible person.
Wants to be called jenny instead of Jennifer so she can feel white. Degrades David for following his dreams.
Goes to show you that money doesn't bring happiness hence she is miserable and treats people badly to make herself feel better.

She is the Whitney/Mariah of our generation. But unlike the legends she isn't giving us the timeless music. I gave up on her after the jhud album. She can sing but that's about it.

Unfortunately, the music industry does not want people like JHud that can actually sing. The music industry only wants pretty singers with medicore voices and weak minds. The industry wants women to sell sex and give them a forgettable quick hit song. Jennifer and all other women with actual talent might as well do music independently instead of working for music companies.

Yeah sure. Because people like Miley Cyrus and Christina Aguilera are the opposite of divasčśĆ If this is true, it very well be these folks don’t appreciate a Black Woman making the same demands and acting like her white counterpartsčĄĚčĆ┐‍♂️

@I Can't - Your analysis is on point. Thumbs up on ALL of your posts regarding the Voice, JHud and music industry. I appreciate posters, like you, who have the mental capacity to identify subterfuge in critiques and perceptions expressed by Caucasian media.

I've never been much a fan of hers, something about her isn't appealing to me, from way back in her American Idol days.
I don't know why African's expect any other treatment from white shows or white media. White shows, especially competition is rooting against us and white media is always making us out to be bitter or whatever fits their agenda. I believe this issue is based on them bringing another white girl back into the fold, now it won't look bad on the network and Jenny/Jennifer/McBoringPants, will go back into obscurity :(

@11:40 am you have way to much time on your hand. It has nothing to do with black and white. If black folks feel that strongly about these situations. Go out and support your fellow brotha or sista! You are reading way to much into the judges chair.
