Judge Showed Bias in Meek Mill Sentencing?

This week rapper Meek Mill was sentenced to 2 to 4 years in prison for violating the terms of his probation from a 2008 gun conviction [click here if you missed that].

Now Meek's attorney is accusing the judge of revenge sentencing...

From Business Insider
In sentencing Mill to be imprisoned, Brinkley went against the recommendation of the Philadelphia district attorney and Mill's probation officer, both of whom suggested that Mill not be incarcerated for the violations.
Tacopina told Business Insider that Brinkley showed a "personal stake" in the decision, and he recounted an odd scene that allegedly occurred between Mill, former girlfriend Nicki Minaj, and the judge inside the courtroom chambers in 2013 as an instance of Brinkley's "inappropriateness."
Tacopina said Brinkley "requested that [Mill] re-record the Philadelphia group Boyz II Men song 'On Bended Knee,'" and include a shout-out to Brinkley on the song.
He said Mill and Minaj laughed at her, thinking she was kidding, and Brinkley said, "No, I'm serious." Tacopina said Mill declined the request and that Brinkley added, "Okay, suit yourself."
Tacopina also said that Brinkley at one point asked Mill to leave his Roc Nation management and return to his former Philadelphia-based manager Charlie Mack, who Tacopina said is a friend of Brinkley's.

I troll it like I see it said...

If this is true about the judge. It still does not negate the fact he violated his parole. I mean which part of that, is a no brainer. How many chances does the average citizen devoid of "celebrity" status get to violate their probation repeatedly and not go to prison? what excuses will this dumbass use next time.

^^ Shame on all of you, I'm no Meek fan but we all know this is systematic racism keeping black men in jail for minor infractions. Modern day slavery! TOTAL BS!! So many black men locked away for no reason. We need to be more upset about these types of sentences. What'd he do, travel to a show without asking his P.O.? LOCK HIM UP?? Please! I know the judge is a black women from Spellman but that doesn't negate the fact that the justice system continues to lock our men up at an alarming rate.

It's a bullshit ass story. He violated more than once. He was given several chances to straighten up, but he always acted like a fool on the loose. So good for his silly ass.
