So they booted him out because they didn’t want to pay him anymore. Too bad, happens every day in the corporate world.

"I have never exposed myself inappropriately". THIS. Could be debatable.

No one will want to work with women. If men go on strike, society will fall.

Again, wondering if it was a man or a woman? I'm willing to bet it was a guy.

They booted him out because he's put them in a difficult position. The reason work place romances are discouraged or not allowed is because an underling, male or female, can interpret the relationship as mandadoty and that leaves a company wide open to be sued.

Tavis knows better.

Tavis seems angry in his older age....it's in his eyes that he clear sees nothing wrong with him he interacted with subordinates...apparently they think different. And lastly I always thought he was closeted

My take, from years in a supervisory position in a professional: He thought his sexcapades were mutually consensual. The employee(s) were afraid to say no for fear of reprisals. Said employee(s) said very damaging things to the brass at PBS that they would never say to Tavis himself. Even if it's not in his company's manual, it is a terrible idea to get sexual with employees, just for this very reason. Huge misunderstanding -- it's probably true that nobody is completely wrong or right.

I agree with y'all. In the old days, women were proud of the fact that they were sleeping with the boss. Not anymore. Nowadays they have to look for another way to get the comeup! And I neve heard that he was into womwn either. Just sàyin.

If you have a "supervisor position" at your place of employment do not engage in sexual relationships with ANYONE there...no inappropriate touching....verbal or otherwise...we are there to work not to give you acess to our bodies.

Well years ago I heard about Tavis trying to sleep with a bunch of women in his office. Apparently he had a well known sexual relationship with one woman who then became a terror to everyone else. She would treat others like she was the boss because no matter how ugly she acted Tavis had her back. It was well known that you could not anger her or reprimand her because she was sleeping with Tavis and if you did you could be fired. Tavis willingly let it be known that no one was to question her or give her problems. The environment he knowingly created was sleep with him and you would have power over others in the office. I'm not sure if this is part of the allegations against him. Like I said this was years ago. However if he behaved like that years ago there's probably been so much other stuff since. I remember being disappointed to know that's how he was in real life. So I'm not surprised or upset that his bad behavior has caught up with him.

9:31, you're correct. As much as I'm not a fan of Tavis, I believe him as well.

@9:07, Sounds true. Although, I don't agree with colleagues engaging in sexual relations, I also believe that everyone is grown and can date whomever they choose. But if what you're saying is true, he overstepped his boundaries by not treating his girlfriends at work like every other employee.
