DMX Jailed After Failed Drug Test

Rapper DMX jailed after testing positive for opiates...

According to reports DMX was taken into custody today for violating the terms of his bond by testing positive for cocaine and oxycontin.

Last November DMX pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges and agreed to go to rehab and take a sober coach on his last tour before sentencing [click here if you missed that].

Apparently The Dog left rehab not long after checking in and never did get that sober coach.

Sentencing is set for March 29, 2018.

I said this on here before. He has to do at least 2 years to completely detox or else he will die. I don't want him in jail at all but as of now, he is his worse enemy and needs to be there.

I know he can survive in there and it is the only option to prevent an OD.

Earl Simmons looks absolutely terrible it looks like a cross between bad teeth and even worse morning breath.
It's amazing the hold that drugs will have over an individual's mind body and spirit
.....it doesn't matter who you are.
He is the walking epitome of what a diction is and how hard it is to beat.
I wish him all the best of luck he's got about what 15 kids now he's got a lot to live for he just has to find that will and that way

Years ago, DMX sat beside me on a 3 hour flight. We talked the entire flight. I promise you all he was the nicest person. Very humble and kind. Mind you he was completely sober at the time. I was always a big fan and told him how many of his fans were rooting for him to beat his addiction. He acknowledged he had a problem and that it was so hard to beat it. He allowed me to pray for/with him at the end of the flight. I have wished him the best ever since. He has a lot of demons and has turned to drugs to deal with them as many people do. So sad. He just needs some serious, intense long term help. I pray he finds his way for his sake and his children.

STFU. You on the blog. You sound the wickest on the whole damn thread.

Jail is NOT for an addict fighting addiction. White ppl lock up black ppl. Send whites to rehab.

His despair has to addressed first. Then he has to make peace with it and himself.

So many ppl want you to succeed D. May the ancestors strengthen your resolve and bring you peace and sobriety.

He sure look like a healthy drug addict! DMX is probably one of the few rappers I like even though his demons keep fucking with him. He is really an intelligent brother. Too bad he doesn't realize it.

Addiction is a disease. That's needs to be acknowledged here. Too many times in the black community (in many others also) we push this away saying its sin and disobedience to God. If he were struggling with a heart problem other chronic disease, some here would be offering prayers instead of condemnation. People do not realize that they themselves are only a .01mg of brain chemicals away from being mentally ill themselves and consistently heap judgment based on ignorance on those with mental illnesses. DMX has a beautiful soul and needs long term mandatory rehab. He must deal with his past traumas in order to begin processing and learning how to live in the present successfully. This is easier said than done.

I'm rooting for you X. I pray you can cope with your addiction.
