Execs Explain White Famous Cancelation

Last month Showtime canceled White Famous starring Jay Pharaoh after only one season [click here if you missed that].

Showtime execs explain why the series had to go...

During a Television Critics Association panel Showtime CEO David Nevins admits,
“Voice matter. There were things that worked but ultimately we concluded that it was a show that was not moving the needle and was not going to move the needle in future; it was not on the right trajectory.”

That turned me off too, I'm not interested in a show called "White Famous". Plus I watch a clip and it was so boring.

Why would I watch this when I can watch Showtime's other show, "The Chi" which is the shit. The Chi is a must see.

That show was terribly unfunny. Just saying shit for the shock factor of it.
