Personally I really hope the pressure to keeping women and men safe from sexual assault continues.

I noticed that she didn't mention men who are sexually assaulted. I think she should have because white women have always high jacked causes as their own when the cause is widely, affirmatively accepted.

E Strokes, I agree somewhat, but was pleased she mentioned men's roles in just listening and supporting victims. Something men have not been the best at doing. I can't cosign enough about the highjacking white women do all the time. When Natalie Portman got on stage to announce the best Director role and made it petty by mentioning it was "all males", it proved that all women are not in this for the right reasons. I was so disappointed. That comment really tainted Guillermo del Toro's acceptance speech from a talented, deserved minority who's first language is not English.

Just wanted to add, this was THE BEST speech of our time and given by a black woman. Anyone else see the irony of this, as black women, the most educated citizens, stay trying to save this country on so many levels?

Hollywood is not slick...this wear black shit was straight out of their Satanic script book. Remember they all have agendas. Also, why is that Bill Crosby is the only male being prosecuted ? All the white men mentioned and no charges against any of them. Oprah is not what she seems to be. She has been allowed rise above, she will never speak for me.

Oprah is a great motivational speaker; nothing more, nothing less.

This wearing of black is Meryl Streep's way of ending the sexual allegation movement in Hollyweird or at the very least minimizing the MeToo movement.

Yeah, why don't we elect our presidents based on their "success", fame and fortune.
America is officially retarded.

This is a land obssesed with winning, competing, making big money and showing off.
How the fuck did Arnold Schwarzenegger become a fucking governor of anything outside of South Dakota? How did a subpar actor called Ronald Reagan become President. We been a stupid country. It's just becoming more apparent after the Trump catastrophe.

*sigh* Didn't read it, won't read it. no, no, no, no, NO.

Oprah can continue to do what she does and throw her formidable position behind the movement. Enough of this celebrity for president bullshit.

We need statesmen & stateswomen who know this bastardized system of ours and are willing to work their asses off to change it and even build new--especially for our people. Not folk who are there just because they have money, celebrity and name recognition.

An Oprah run would guarantee that demon would remain in the White House and because of it are on the precipice of Hell.

My people-especially-don't fall for it.

ENOUGH.

@12:38 THIS!!!
Especially the part about an Oprah run would guarantee a Trump win. We have to be more strategic than this.

Just an observation said...

Oprah runs and Trump wins a second term for sure.
