I figure this exploits the real cookie from empire. They are trying to cash in on her crazy ass degrading attitude...and make her into some bad bitch as she is portray on empire...one big Yawn here.

@10:54 they're having one of those premiere showings in my area but at $25, I'm not sure if I'll make it.

Date Night for me & mine...I'm not sure what to expect but if we don't support our own nobody else will.....

Support her! There is a blind item saying that because she rejected one of the managers, the studio won't promote it. I want to see it!

looks lame and forgettable. Im sorry she didn't get a better script. I wish her all the best. Hollywood screwed her over for her SNL Show too. its gonna take a good role that she is able to deliver for her to distance herself from cookie. But thinking of her catalog of work, she has always been the same sassy black woman in all her films. I'm happy for her success and wish her the best! #saveyacoins

We rarely have black actresses in roles like this. How is this different from something like Atomic Blonde?

So if this movie fails, you dusty, burnt, black niggas better NOT complain about the lack of good leading roles for black actresses since you wanna bootleg this film or support a black male lead. Black people, we are our own worst enemies.

Personally I think it's cool how Taraji's characters develop into separate projects. She is down to earth and likable no matter what role she's playing. This one here is a spin off from her hit man role in Smoking Aces. Good for her!

But if it were Angekina kissing her blood brother in the mouth Jolie while staeking somebody's husband or Charleze I'm a buy a strong black man's som and dress him in pink dresses and bkonde wigs yall asses woukd be there with lacefronts and lashes on right?

It could Amy Schumer's squarepants ass with wrinkly folded Goldie Hawn though. As long as the person doesn't look like you, you self hating asses will show up. But you'll tune in every week for free to watch her play Cookie though right?

Bet yall mad at what Tang said though right?

Fake ass outrage bandwagon hoes.

My husband and I saw it opening night. It was so good in the fact that this beautiful little knuckleheaded preteen boy was important enough to burn it all down for. He wasn't perfect and he didn't need to be to be worthy of love and sacrifice. I was misty-eyed the whole movie.

He was smart-mouthed and sad and vulnerable trying to survive and she went and got him and f*cked up ANYBODY who would do harm to him.

Taraji was good and wasn't Cookie AT ALL.

I liked it! Taraji is a good actress and little Jahi Winston was believable as Danny
