The Weeknd Cuts Ties with H&M

R&B singer The Weeknd terminates endorsement deal with H&M after they post a racially insensitive ad on social media...

The ad showed a Black child wearing a hoodie that reads "Coolest Monkey in the Jungle."

The ad has since been deleted.

H&M was clearly racist. The knew EXACTLY what they were doing and they wanted controversial publicity. They wanted attention from blacks knowing that they would soon accept their insincere apologies so they can get our dollars again. We need to pull back and stop spending money on these racist, corrupt corporations and make sound decisions on what to spend and where. That's when they will really regret what they did. They dont give a Fuck about us. So we shouldnt give a fuck about them.

Wait...these sobs said they wouldn't sell them in the US...so I guess it's cool in other countries? H&M projecting future sales for This? Where in the hell is it good to rock this?

IF this isn't photoshopped, to those of you asking where were his parents, this is probably the kind of parents that drop their child off at the photo shoot, audition, etc to let God knows what happen ( like this shit right here or worse). SMH

In this day & age, NOTHING can surprise me anymore. I've come to expect the worse out of ppl- especially white folk. It's just the times in which we are living. Real talk.

This shit ain't photo shopped. H&M issued some sorry ass stament/apology type cover up drivel but YES this is happening...again.

There is an African American museum in Expo Park in Los Angeles. It's free too. I challenge any Rhianna fan..Beyonce stan..twerker..to take a look at the exhibits of the caricatures resembling..monkeys....then put this in perspective. It's history PRESENTLY repeating itself.

In stock items like this they take one photo and then place different designs on the shirts. Very common. This is not normal though that they would put disrespectful words. Normally just color variants. It is not the parents fault.

Shocked and pleased The Weeknd is not a coon.

Cuz had this been Jay Z and Barneys.

Listen the parent does hold some responsibility here.
What you cannot do is take my child's image and place a penis on their shirt THEN take a pic and advertise that shit.
Idgaf what type of agreement, contract or even spoken word you have...imma need final approval or IT'S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.
Parents have rights just as children do.
Parents also have responsibilities to protect their children..this is a prime example.
Somebody guardian dropped the mf ball.
