Of that $700 mil how much went to the actors and director/writers vs. the white folks who are behind the machine I wonder?

Im sorry but I thought the movie was a disgrace to African Americans. I dont see the Black Power pride everyone is talking about. The move portrayed American black men in as a stereotypical, barbaric killng machine way yet again. But everyone is so thirsty for us to have a super hero they not seein that. I love Marvel movies, and I thought the movie was going to be awesome because the Civil War one which introduced Black Panther was super amazing!!! I dont think that the civil rights movement should have been used at all, especially if it was going to be attached to the ANTAGONIST!!! Thats like saying the civil rights movement is/was bad. One more thing I dont think that it was right to pit Africans against African Americans, why must they always do this in movies, try to divide us..I could go onnnnnn, it was just a freaking disgrace. IMO. Not sipping the kool-aid. sorry throws popcorn at the screen

@ 12:01

There is always one of you. In your world you are more enlightened than all the rest us us "sheep." Your argument for not liking the movie is flimsy at best. It's almost as if you sat at home and pondered how to come up with a contrarian position...and came up with this drivel. Even if you found no particular symbolism in the movie and you watched it purely as a fan of the Marvel Universe, or just a fan of action movies in general, you should be able to admit at the very least that the cinematography was excellent. Visually stunning! Nothing screams insecurity like the need of the contrarian to be different. #michaelsteele #bencarson #parisdennard

I need this to make a billion dollars worldwide and also the Black Panther franchise. Finally a damn near all black cast, that shows us in a great light that instills cultural and racial pride, with messages that includes all Nubians around the world. I'm fucking tied of slave movies that make me feel angry, hostile, hopeless and want to drop kick the first group of wypipo I see and catch a damn case. Black Panther made me feel good dammit and not of those broke hating ass hoe-teps or any other miserable ass black group was going to make me not see this. I put that in the ether this would be a block buster and collectively the collective supported this energy. I'm going to see it again this weekend and I saw where they have some beautiful black dolls that represented Wakanda, get these also to put on your ancestral shrine and for your daughters and goddess altars. Love You, Love Us!!!

12:43 The person you replied to doesn't have to share the same opinion as you.
12:01 didn't like it, you did - agree to disagree and move on.

To 1:38, shut up. To 12:43 thank you!!! stupid asshats always got to diminish the overall shine of it all. that movie is the bomb!!!

1:51 No you shut the fuck up you cunt, thinking your opinion is the only one that counts.
It's not great just because you say so.

That movie was Awesome because the it's made so far proves my point!

I meant the money it made alone proves my point! It was an awesome movie!

Lol. So do the numerous tickets celebrities bought to give away for free count? Lots of people who went to see this movie didn't even have to pay, even my area had free screenings so I think the numbers are highly exaggerated.

I said what I said. The cinematography was absolutely amazing and the costumes were unbelievable!! I loved the fight scenes and the scenes about the after life. I laughed when appropriate and I felt emotion in the emotional parts.
But I thought the movie was a freaking disgrace to African Americans. The only time they had the school yard children speak was to say that they were going to steal the pieces off the ship. These are our African American children being depicted in a big budget film as thieves!! The main character who is suppose to represent me was the ultimate nigger. You expect me to believe that an educated MIT graduate, war veteran as they stated is unable to string together a coherent sentence without slang (bro, unc, what up, rap music when his scenes come on etc) come onnnnn. The only almost reference to African American women was in a scene when they dressed up in a club and she called her wig a stupid "thing" and proceeded to use it as a weapon. Yall come on the movie was a disgrace to AA IMO. But they are getting us to buy in because of the all black cast blah blah. This is not about sheep this about the media continuing the bogus stereotype of blacks. So no I am not pleased with being stereotyped regardless of the fact that everyone else thought it was so wonderful.

Ask yourself this one question, how does this movies represent African Americans?

@1:38 thank you for respecting the difference of opinions.

Blacks Are So Lost said...

The movie was excellent as far as the special effects, black cast, and black royalty. However, the movie also is going to put blacks worldwide (the true Israelites) back to sleep and have them identify with Hamites (Africans) who KNOW who they truly are. Sad. But most blacks don't read and study or research, they just accept anything the white man throws at them and if they see black faces they eat it up completely.

Negroes just can't understand nor accept the biblical facts that not all blacks in Africa are from the same lineage. Some are Hamites, and some are Shemites (descendents of Abraham and Jacob). Israel is scattered throughout the world. But as soon as you tell blacks this they laugh and say the Bible is a white man's book. However, pouring MILLIONS of money in for Black Panther won't change this FACT. Blacks will still continue to be lost living in sh*thole conditions because they fail to take in knowledge of who they truly are.

However, I'm happy for the black actors and directors who were involved in this movie, but don't get it twisted. I'm not a Hamite. I'm an Israelite. We still got a long way to go as a nation.

2:33 - you do realize that if someone else paid, it doesn't matter who ultimately paid at the door, the seats were paid for...so the counts should be accurate.

at 9:10 am...that's what we need to take away! $700M for a movie, what can we all support next?

Anonymous said...

@ 541 the counts would not be accurate if a certain amount didn't even show...

Just an observation said...

It is near $900 million so far. Definitely groundbreaking for an dominantly black cast in a movie. I love it!
