Donald Glover Feels Chosen Like Jesus

Actor, producer and singer/ songwriter Donald Glover admits he feels chosen, like Jesus Christ...

Donald Glover tells The New Yorker,
"People accept me now because I have power, but they still think, Oh, he thinks he’s the golden flower of the black community, thinks he’s so different. But I am, though! I feel like Jesus. I do feel chosen. My struggle is to use my humanity to create a classic work — but I don’t know if humanity is worth it, or if we’re going to make it. I don’t know if there’s much time left."

You're no Jesus, mister....

Ain't he married to a whyte woman? Uh, no... there are several reasons why you are not chosen like Jesus. But you could be chosen like Lucifer...

Oh he was chosen. By white people that is.....

I read this long profile on The New Yorker yesterday. And boy is he weird. That's all I got. He said way more than this.

Oh & @11:27, He is very much aware that he was chosen by white people and he stated that he's not comfortable with it and doesn't know how long he will do this. He's another Dave Chappelle. He'll retire sooner than later and live in solitude like a hermit.

Not a fan, but interesting that this comment leaks from the article a day after the other comments about Tina Fey's and Chevy Chases racism. I'm not falling for this distraction.

11:30 am - do tell! LOL... I'm going to find the article at work today and see what he's going through. But ugh that's like wasting my intellectual skills trying to work through a bunch of mumbo jumbo!

First this weirdo likens himself to Pac and now the Christ. He reminds of Kanye just a pain in the ass.

Just an observation said...

He just lost me. I thought he was actually elevated. This the same dude who gave a shout out to Migos during his Golden Globes win??!?? As a black woman even I know we're much more than the white mans bible. I'll even play into his delusion.....Jesus was without sin. That's a clue you're not chosen 'like Jesus'. Maybe Moses who was a drunk but had a good heart. Maybe Jonah who was trying to flee his duty to warn the people. Not Jesus.

Isn't this fool nearing 40 yrs of age? Imean - he's been 34 for a couple of years now. I don't see what the big deal is over him. Every role I've seen him in he just plays himself...like the Rock does.

the god complex is the first signal showing you he is now part of the beast system.

Donald is a multi talented entertainer but his personality leaves something to be desired.

He's not Jesus, he's just different but because he's black, and not acting like the "typical" black man or whatever the fuck that means, most white people see him as safe, some black people see him as white acting or weird. If he was white, none of the shit he says would matter. Only in our culture are we ALL expected to think, act, react, talk the fucking same and if you don't, something's wrong with you. Went through it most of my life. Not black enough cause I came from the burbs, was smart, and spoke semi-properly and liked rock music as well as rap. Being a man now Im glad I stayed who the fuck I was cause most of the people that talked shit were some fake phony weak ass jokers with insecurities.

Tell me more about Tina Fey’s Chevy Chase’ racism??

Never cared for Tina Fay firstly. Secondly, all celebs. compare themselves to God. Every time that they say: "I AM ...", they are calling themsleves 'Gods'. He's just being more in-your-face about it.

For those asking about Tina Fey, it wasn't quite racism. NBC had a diversity initiative where they would pay the person's salary instead of the show paying it. When Glover asked her if he was hired just because he was Black, she stated essentially, yes since they didn't have to come out of show budget and it was "free".

As for Chevy Chase, he was an all-out racist during the taping of shows and saying how Glover only got the position bc of affirmative action. Glover stated that he didn't mind it because he knew that Chase was just jealous and upset that his star was no longer shining.

Your no Jesus sir. Like an earlier comment stated he however has been "Chosen" like ALL the rest of these so-called "celebrities" into the Beast System.

Darby said he was the Kanye of his day.

Oh, I will go to my grave saying Hardline is an undereated classic thst would hold up very in the Neo Soul genre.

I always said Hard line was the album Jackson SHOULD have made after Thriller instead of Bad.

Speak on it @2:06. Not all of us fit in that box. The ones judging & labelling are usually the biggest Sambo's of them all.

Let Gambino be great. Quiet as its kept, we need another KanyƩ. In fact, can we just get him back. Damn!

Hey Donald, if you happen to know where KanyƩ is, please break him free, drop squad him real quick & then do a collabo...
