Khia Defends Turning Down Nicki Minaj Deal

Last week in a special session of The Queen's Court TS Madison claimed Nicki Minaj offered to take The Queen's Court to TV but Khia refused to negotiate [click here if you missed that].

Khia explains why...

This week on Khia's Gag Order she explained Nicki Minaj wanted to own rights to the show and sign TS Madison and herself as talent and pay them $15k per episode.

Khia says it would have been stupid and thirsty of her to turn the show she created over to Nicki who would then have the power to say who they could and could not roast, defeating the purpose and diluting the rawness that attracted everyone to the show in the first place.

Khia also continued to blast TS Madison for trademarking The Queen's Court without including Khia's name on the paperwork, despite the fact Khia is the one who created the show.

Khia also didn't put any money towards advancing the show beyond the current platform. If she was smart her and TS Madison would have shopped the show to otger networks just on the basis that Nikki was going to do it. Additionally, TS has a logo network following they could have shopped it there. Khia can send me my check for these ideas. You are most welcome ladies

This story is begging for the end.

Khia is right! Why would Nikki own the show bad deal. They should share executive production credits and get paid. So what she did put any money into it you still get 50% for putting in the work. TS Madison could have put Khia name on that trademark but she's a greedy thief like Pebbles owning the name TLC.

Khia is a good business lady. Why give up something you started and you know they would change Everything. Then you have to sacrifice someone or get on the casting couch.Stay independent.

For those who are saying Khia's a good business woman, where is she getting $15K to do anything now? The club appearances will dwindle because the LGBTQ community is too divided about her. With that said, now, she's back to doing videos in her home. Hopefully her FB or YouTube are monetized platforms, if not, oh well.

@12:14/Melissa, Maddie had already explained the Nicki Minaj contract situation. She stated that Khia didn't like the contract and although Maddie was disappointed, she was okay with not moving forward with it if Khia wasn't down. Maddie stated exactly what you just wrote out. They decided to continue doing the show and build an audience and then they would shop around later.

Khia just really didn't want to do Queen's Court anymore and now, everybody is over them. Who's still watching her? I didn't even click on the video posted. I read what Snitch wrote and left it at that.

I'm over it.

Khia is correct. Good for her not wanting to sell out because it happens all too often.

What differences does any of it makes? Khia is done, put a fork in the bitch.

Lol oh Nicki thought she had her a winner winner chicken dinner huh. Ya'll really should do some research on Khia before talking ish. She is where she is because she is not a sell out!!! Imagine applying for a job and you are told you must wear a dunce cap on Mondays and sing yankee doodle dandy while jumping up and down on one leg (Like clown a$$ Nicki did when she came out). Would you do it for the paycheck? Fawk no...because you have pride, know your worth and have options! If I don't work here, I will work some place else. Stay real Khia!!!

While Khia and T.S debating on SM , Exploit 'em Mona's somewhere taking notes and scheming to take the 2.0/generic version to VH1.

Don't be too surprised to hear Khia's name go with "fraud" sooner or later. I understand people rooting for people. What I don't understand is this notion that she's some type of smart shrewd businesswoman. How? When? I guess yall believe a cat run a business cause he gives u a card

If Khia was a smart business woman she would have trademarked the name long time ago. TS maddie is smart enough to understand that. When you self sabotage there is no light at the end of the tunnel. Its time that she brush up on her administrative skills and get a job somewhere.

I didn't watch the video either...... khia is a hood rat and she should have been happy with the little bit of success she was getting from this show. Next......

lets see 15k per episode, 4 episodes a month is 60k a month as to nothing.... how that work out for her ?

@4:34 is CORRECT - for everyone else - stop being short sighted and perceive the bigger picture (AKA The Long Con). Khia was trying to keep it 💯- self grown and self owned.

Y’all don’t hear it tho......

I have to say Khia is right she felt by letting Niki on she would come in and try to change shit and bring hollywired with her so she can shine and save what's left of her career and Khia said hell no I have to agree with Khia they would have came in and taken over and Nikki would be the star and it would have been all about Nikki I guess and Khia saw a poisonous snake crawling and said no way not gone happen neva! lol I understand her point of view I think ts wants to be fame and fortune but Khia is fine like she is and she doesn't want anything to do with them people and I don't blame her I have to say she's correct she doesn't want to be a puppet and sold out I hear ya Khia she saw them greedy sold out folk comen and said hell no

Prissa, @12:39 and @8:37, are y'all brain dead or of low socioeconomic status and can relate to difficult ghetto birds? lol Maddie AGREED with Khia on the contract thing. They *both* decided to just keep it moving and see where Queen's Court goes. Khia felt a need to explain *why* she felt it was a bad contract even though this offer was all of 6 months ago lol It's off the table and no longer matters.
