Houston's Closing After T.I. Ends Boycott

Last year Hip Hop mogul Deb Antney started a boycott of Houston's in Atlanta after accusing them of refusing to split the tab for her large party because of race [click here if you missed that].

This week, after T.I. ended the boycott claiming he had come to an agreement with management, Houston's announced they were closing...

According to reports the Houston's on Lenox road will close on March 31rst.

Reps for Houston's told Eater Magazine the restaurant was closing because of failed lease negations but insiders insist Houston's owns the location.

Houston's opened in the Lenox Rd location in 1978.

Snitch what the fuck is that date again??

@1:14 - I've caught Snitch posting "rst" when short-handing "first" on a few occasions. This is just a blog, but I do hope that Snitch doesn't use that abbreviation in any kind of professional communications.

1. Where is T.I.'s restaurant located?
2. Can we review his diversity training initiatives?
3. How much time did he spend with the Houston team?
4. Has Deb found an alternative spinach dip?
5. Is T.I. still "apart of' the training program as requested by the executives?
6. Was T.I. consulted on the closing since he has related experience?

Hmmm... not quite the influencer he thinks he is. My bet is he sat down with a few of Houston's reps and he chimed on in the pretentious, cringeworthy, tedious fashion that we've all become accustomed to everytime he opens his mouth.
They smiled and nodded and called it a day in that location.
Obviously didn't see that one coming.

My bet is that Houston's never even spoke to him....

So he thinks he managed to shut the doors of one of many locations. Im so sick of fake niggactivism. Boycott this, shut down that. Do they not realize this changes nothing?

The owners of Houston decided they will take their business elsewhere. You know, where they don't have to deal with bs but continue to make their money. TI can't even save his marriage right, let alone a business. SMH
