Don’t act like Beyoncé is the only one who stayed with her cheating husband. Black women as a whole date down and put up with a bunch of bullshit just to say “I got a man” I can’t tell you how many black women repeat that stupid ass saying of “side chicks need to know their place” DUMMY there should be no place for a side chick period if you had standards and wouldn’t put up with a cheating sorry ass dude. Some of y’all get cheated on, beaten on, accept side babies from mistresses, deal with broke unemployed dudes... the list goes on and on, just so you can prove how much of a ride or die chick you are. It’s an epidemic in our community because our girls are taught from an early age that the most important thing they can do in their lives is get and keep a man, even if he treats you like shit. It’s bullshit and it’s outdated.

Her definition of ride or die, differs from mine. What she's describing to ME sounds like a "lay down and be a door mat" chick.

Amen 12:45 rather be single than anybody nothing

@12:45 Thank you for make it plain and simple! Black women need to value themselves more and project that message to their daughters. A man typically does not stay with a woman once she cheats on him point blank!

keri is pretty and talented and will get a guy worthy of her. sometimes it just takes time. that basketball player she was with was too young for her..that's why that didnt' work out. i wish her well. she should come out with new music. hell, it's wack out here she might get some shine this time around lol.

@1:03

Right? It's dry as fuck out here, where the new single Keri? It's not like there's any competition. Bey has no new music, Cardi is trash, Nicki's irrelevant, Rihanna on break.....the field wide open right now.

She's pretty and talented but catty and bitchy with a nasty attitude, I can definitely see why she's single.

@2:14 There are plenty of pretty, single women. It's the lack of decent, available men that is the real problem.

Any sane, self respecting, self loving and self worth having woman or girl knows this. Agreed 100%. I have seen women take drug charges and go to prison for men, support men in prison, let men ruin their credit, get them evicted, got murdered by their gangland men's enemies and all manner of fuckery in the name or ride or die. I have never and will never cosign that level of fuckery and my daughters will not, neither will my son's should any women come in their path with the fuckery.

@12:45, Ride or die chick is not just a black woman issue (see Khloe Kardashian). It's a low self esteem issue, and low self esteem touches all races of women. Black women are the last to be raised to accept any type of treatment. If that were true black men wouldn't be flocking to white door mats. In all honesty, the person that came to my mind first was Tiny and not Beyoncé.

Keri is beautiful and seems to love herself.

Women really and truly need to stop giving men so much power. Being married ain't the be all-end all!

@4:45 I agree but Khole ROLDAN was a bad example. She’s a “I’m desperate for a storyline” chick.

I agree with her. No woman should be anyone's doormat but some women deal with it just for the ring and status. I've known people like that.

@ 9:23pm LMAOOOO you called it like you see it lmaoooooo

My sentiments exactly Keri. I stated myself that a black woman's strength should not be measured by how much ish she can take off a man, her tolerances of heartache, pain, disrespect etc.

There isnt anything wrong with being devoted to someone. Your husband is top priority and you should go to the ends or earth for him, but he needs to do the same for you. And he should never put you in a situation where you might "die" for him. He shouldnt put you in harms way ever. But girls have to understand not everyone deserves that type of loyalty and its not required for me to be loyal to anyone that isnt my husband. And a lot of these guys barley deserve a hello anyway.
