Family Approved Whitney Houston Documentary Trailer Drops

A new documentary about Whitney Houston produced by her sister-in-law Pat Houston is headed to theaters...

Whitney Houston broke more music industry records than any other female singer in history. With over 200 million album sales worldwide, she was the only artist to chart seven consecutive U.S. No. 1 singles. She also starred in several blockbuster movies before her brilliant career gave way to erratic behavior, scandals and death at age 48. The documentary feature Whitney is an intimate, unflinching portrait of Houston and her family that probes beyond familiar tabloid headlines and sheds new light on the spellbinding trajectory of Houston’s life. Using never-before-seen archival footage, exclusive demo recordings, rare performances, audio archives and original interviews with the people who knew her best, Oscar®-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald unravels the mystery behind “The Voice,” who thrilled millions even as she struggled to make peace with her own troubled past.

Whitney the Movie in theaters July 6, 2018.

I love Whitney but will not be supporting this cash grab. Pat belongs in hell.

Straight to BET. And what “troubled past” did Whitney have?....

I knew Pat snake ass was behind this. That means all of Whitney's and Bobbi K's money is almost gone.

Whitney's past was no more troubled than any of these other celebrities. The family should be shamed of themselves. How many more documentaries/bios can they remake? Enough already!

This bitch has done nothing but exploited and profited from the memory of Whitney.

Pat Houston is a sad individual. Whitney's brother is a punk. He must have been secretly jealous of his sister. I know he is responsible for introducing her to the hard drugs but damn! This motherfucker watched her happily as she declined and added his bitch to the equation to further profit off her. A family of vultures. Whitney never had a chance. Vultures all around her. That has to be a fucked up pressure to be the one taking care of your whole family. Her family killed her. It's always the kids raised in church that grow up to be self-destructive. They know the 'good book' like the back of their hands but still end up like everyone else. Look at The Braxton's.....🙄

@Just an observation the other brother introduced her to drugs...not the one married to Pat....but it's still disgraceful and you're probably right...

Imma wait it out and catch it on cable.

the other documentary told the truth, no sugarshit Robin was the love of her life and looked out for her. Bobby,Mom and crew were money hungry vultures.

I would watch it because it will compile a lot of rare Whitney footage, but the mention of Pat’s name just turned me all the way off.

Whitney was so beautiful and talented. I love her live performance of He’s All the Man that I Need for the troops. Simply beautiful.

It's fucked up that the Houston's are being labeled as money hungry. The documentary was filmed after Bobbi K's death. In saying that, the money or inheritance in which is in the millions famigoes back to the Houston's. This movie isn't about money. It's about the Houston's and friends telling their story about Whitney in their own words. It's the official bio by her family.
