Randy Denies Vertigo Claims
Randy Jackson took to his myspace page to dispel the rumor that he said his sister Janet was canceling shows because of Vertigo. The message reads: "Randy has not and will not speak publicly about the health of his sister, or her reasons for canceling any of her shows. This "interview" never happened."

ReplyDeleteWell. There's no doubt that Janet isn't really sick, but the REASON she's pulling this stunt may be less than obvious.
ReplyDeleteYes, playing before half-empty venues with shitty songs in ridiculous costumes (not to mention battling fried-chicken bloat), all have contributed to Janet's "sickness."
But this move is really about CONTROL: Janet is not happy and she wants to send that message.
Who to?
Jermaine has a management contract with Janet that boils down to this: if she doesn't get paid, neither does he. The fact that a few of these cancellations came AFTER Janet showed up for the soundcheck is very telling.
She's letting the world know that if she doesn't sing, there is NO PERFORMANCE—no matter how close to showtime.
Bet Jermaine is scuffling hard to clean this up among the promoters, tour sponsors and the fans.
What did he do to merit this treatment?
Puking in her lap didn't help. And having what many have mistaken to be a tootsie roll between his legs just adds insult to injury.
P.S. This is a tactic she must have learned well from big brother Michael.
