Tribeca Film Festival juror Cuba Gooding Jr. has been putting in some serious hours tearing up the town. On Saturday, the “Firelight” star was determined to party shirtless. He began at the boozy Day & Night brunch in the Meatpacking District, where “he was going crazy, dancing,” spies said. After his shirt was sprayed with champagne, Gooding “took it off and started flexing his muscles.” His handlers took him aside and sternly told him he’d better put his shirt back on as people began snapping iPhone photos. Undeterred, Gooding headed to the Dream Downtown Hotel for PH-D’s Sunset Saturdays — where, a source said, “he was dancing with everyone. He got up on the banquette, took his shirt off and wrapped it around his head. He had the room in the palm of his hand.” He was also overheard announcing to all, “This is a phenomenal [bleeping] hotel!” By 2 a.m., he’d moved to SL and was at the bar with friends including Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and an attractive woman. Gooding has been on a roll — two days earlier, the actor hit the Darby with pals, where spies said he “was dancing, drinking vodka, then playfully jumped on top of a blonde woman,” who we’re told was the girlfriend of one of the hosts and “managed to wrestle him off.” Gooding’s rep told us, “It’s great to represent someone like Cuba who is such a people person and who has a great time being Cuba. Look at his Oscar speech. This is very much in character. He is high-energy and exuberant.”
