According to reports Columbus Short reached a plea deal yesterday that reduced his charges from felony battery to one count of felony assault likely to cause great bodily injury.
Columbus pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 3 years probation, 60 days of community labor, 26 anger management classes and ordered to pay restitution.
A restitution hearing has been set for Oct. 21.
