Mike Tyson Denied Entry to Chile

Retired boxing champ Mike Tyson denied entry to Chile because of his criminal record....

The CPI said Interpol would put the ex boxer back onto a flight to the US after he was denied entry into Chile today. Chile's equivalent of the FBI said Tyson doesn't meet requirements for entry due to his criminal record. Tyson served three years of a six-year sentence in the 1990s for raping a teenage beauty-pageant contestant. He also has been convicted of assault and cocaine possession.
Tyson, who flew to Chile to participate in a television promotion, has had his criminal past impeded his business travel before. In 2013 he scrapped promotional appearances in London.
