Pharrell and Robin Thicke Ordered to Pay Marvin Gaye's Family

Back in March Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke lost their appeal to the lawsuit won by Marvin Gaye's family accusing them of ripping off "Got to Give it Up" for their hit single "Blurred Lines [click here if you missed that]."

Now it's time to pay up...

This week a judge affirmed the verdict ordering Pharrell and Robin to satisfy the $5.3 million judgment.

Pharrell and the publishing company must pay $2.9 million, Robin is responsible for $1.7 million and the remaining $357,631 must be paid by Pharrell.

In addition, all remaining royalties will be split with the Gaye Estate.
