Steve Harvey Blindsided by NBC Announcement

Last year there were rumors that Steve Harvey's talk show was being replaced in NBC's top rated markets with a talk show hosted by American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson [click here if you missed that].

Steve admits he had no idea they were planning to drop him...

In an interview at the Variety Entertainment Summit this week Steve was asked if he was staying with NBC and this was his response,
“I thought I was, until they made an announcement a couple weeks ago that they wanted to give Kelly Clarkson the owned-and-operated NBC networks -- that’s my slot. I don't know if it sold, it's not selling like they thought, but I thought it would have been nice of them to come to me -- as the only dude who’s survived [in daytime TV] for seven years -- about it."
“So when you do that, I gotta make announcements too ... I'm working. It will be something real cute.”

I feel what he's saying but I'm sure he won't lose any sleep over it with everything else he has going on.

See 'Stee'? It's your turn in the blender, shug. You sidled up to that orange menace in the White House and thought that was gonna do something for you. And now, here you are, getting your sh*t snatched by a YT girl, who ain't got nowhere near the experience and time you've had and put into the industry.

Can't say I'm surprised or sorry frankly. Was cool with you for the most part before you decided to let that beast on Pennsylvania Ave. willingly use you and parade you around like some prize buck, and here you are, bout to be ass out.

Oh. Well.

Steve looks like he's aging in dog years. He's going to work himself into a heart attack. Greedy ass Marjorie and her family won't mine.

So 1:32 what would have happened if he didnt endorse Trump and still got dropped? Would have been racism then right? Steve is tired and stale and has been for awhile. I blame that more than his Trump backing but who cares either way

Okay but a Kelly Clarkson talk show? Another pale face gets a tv show. Steve may have many jobs but there are always pale faces with tv shows everywhere.
