Jussie Smollett Ordered to Cover Cost of Chicago Investigation

This week the State Attorney's office dropped all 16 counts against Jussie Smollett, wiped his record clean and sealed the documents causing outrage from Mayor Rahm Emanuel and the Chicago police department [click here if you missed that].

Now Jussie has been ordered to pay the cost of the investigation.

According to reports the city's legal department sent a letter to Jussie's attorneys demanding $130,000 to cover the cost of overtime worked by more than two dozen detectives and officers on the case.

The charges were dropped as part of a plea deal where Jussie forfeited his $10,000 bond and completed 16 hours of community service [click here if you missed that].
