Last week it was reported that less than 1000 people downloaded "Lion King: The Gift" in the UK [click here if you missed that].
The US numbers weren't much better...
The numbers are in and Beyoncé's Lion King soundtrack companion album "The Lion King: The Gift" will debut at no. 2 on the Billboard chart 200 with 54,000 equivalent album units earned with 11,000 of those in pure album sales.
Beyoncé curated and produced "The Gift" and performed on 10 of the album's 14 songs.
