Antonio Brown Files Grievances Against the NFL


Last month NFL receiver Antonio Brown was cut from the New England Patriots just one week after getting picked up following his release from the Oakland Raiders [click here if you missed that].

Now Antonio is trying to recoup some of the money from his voided contracts...
 
According to reports the National Football League Players Association filed grievances on Antonio's behalf to recoup nearly $40 million in unpaid salary, fines and voided guarantees.

Antonio is disputing $215,000 in fines from the Raiders, demanding a week of salary from when he requested to be released by the Raiders - $860,294 - and $29 million in guarantees for 2019 and 2020 plus a $1 million signing bonus.

From the Patriots Antonio is seeking 1 week's salary of $64,062 the rest of the $1.025 million guaranteed base salary plus his $9 million signing bonus.
