Tyler Perry Adding Compound for Displaced LGBTQ Youth and Trafficked Women on New Studio Grounds

This week Tyler Perry sat down with Gayle King to talk about the launching of his new 330 acre movie studio in Southwest Atlanta, Ga.

Tyler tells Gayle he plans to open a compound for displaced LGBTQ youth and women who have been forced into sex trafficking on the studio grounds...

Tyler Perry tells Gayle King,
"The studio is going to be what it is. I tell you what I'm most exciting about next, is pulling this next phase off is building a compound for trafficking women, girls, homeless women, LGBTQ youth who are put out and displaced."
“Having a compound that is a beautiful place right here somewhere on this 330 acres, where they’re trained in the business and they become self-sufficient, they live in nice apartments, there’s daycare, there’s all of these wonderful things that allows them to re-enter society and then pay it forward again. That’s what I hope to do soon.”
