Last week Oprah Winfrey caused a firestorm after taking her name off an unauthorized documentary profiling alleged sexual predator Russell Simmons, claiming she was uncomfortable with the doc's limited scope [click here if you missed that].
Apparently the film is doing just fine without her...
According to reports "On the Record" received multiple standing ovations after its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival this week.
Russell has not addressed the film publicly since its release.

No coincidence this fake yogi ran to a country with no extradition treaty with the US.
Wasn't the same said about The Michael Jackson documentary, a film full of inaccuracies and holes? It also received a standing ovation from Sundance. I'm not doubting that Russell has some extremely pervy and sexually predatorial behavior, I'm just considering there may be a pattern here and on both sides. Something stinks.
