Tidal Admits Manipulating Streaming Numbers

Last week news leaked that Tidal had officially been named a suspect in a Norwegian music streaming fraud case [click here if you missed that].

Now comes word that Tidal has admitted manipulating their numbers...

New court documents obtained by Dagens Næringsliv claim,
Tidal acknowledges that the company changed power figures after the launch of "Life of Pablo" due to major technical issues.
Tidal blamed the popularity of Kanye's album for causing a system wide glitch forcing them to estimate the streams.

The case is ongoing.
