For the first time in O Magazine's 20 year history someone other than Oprah Winfrey will appear on the cover...
The late Breonna Taylor will cover the next issue of O Magazine.
Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT, was killed on March 13 around 1 A.M. after the Louisville, KY police department served a no-knock warrant at the wrong address for a suspect that was already in custody. Breonna was shot 8 times.
No knock warrants have since been banned in Kentucky and one officer was fired but no arrests in the murder of Breonna Taylor have been made.

the wicked & evil celebs Strike again!....using that lady's Death to push your magazine....that's what you into now?
The Judgement coming to you oprah (if you don't repent), is gonna be Terribly Magnificent...time is ticking on your azz!
you think this worldwide covid and what happened to kobe was something to see....bay-bay...yall aint seen NOTHING YET!!!
Oprah is not slick. . . too little too late.
Oprah is definitely trying to push magazine sales.
It sickens me that no one was arrested. No apologies. Nothing. May Breonna rest in peace.
All these jokers using others for their survival - wake up folks!
Its good that she is shedding light on the cop was not arrested. She is trying to get back in the good graces of the black community. Not so fast gurl, we have a long memory.
Oprah black women are not buying what you're trying to sell us. You get a big fuck off, bitch.
Another banana in the tailpipe move. I'm sure all of Oprah's suburban White women warriors are eating this up and finding ways to lead the charge to get justice for Breonna, essentially making this movement about them and feeding into their Savior complex.
Of all the questionable, unjustifiable things that's happened to Black people in the last 20 years - heck, even the last 5 years - and Breonna Taylor is the first person who reminds Oprah of her Black self? I wonder why Sandra Bland didn't make the cut? Wasn't she also a Chicago native?
Oprah really does think she's smart than everybody else in the room. She only put Breonna on the cover because Breonna's a "safe, non-ghetto" choice for representing Black women. And this is the type of image she needs on her magazine cover to resonate with her lily white audience.
This is O magazine's last year, so I'm sure they don't give a fuck about sales at this point. And while I'm certainly no fan of Oprah, I'm glad she took the time to dedicate a cover story to Breonna Taylor. She could have done nothing and people would have still bitched and moaned, this is why it's important to not give a fuck what people say and just do what you feel is right. Great cover! Now arrest those officers who murdered Breonna!!!

This took me out. LMAOOOOOOO!
^^Whatever, Nobody wasn't bitchin and moanin at Oprah for not saying shyt because she ain't never said shit before when it comes to black people. So WTF are you talking about?
The VERY LAST edition of her 20 YEAR old magazine? Has NOBODY deserved to grace the cover until now? Along with honoring Breonna on a magazine cover, Oprah can use her (pseudo)power & influence to apply pressure & money in efforts to have her MURDERER charged, convicted & sentenced. But that would be too Black of Oprah, I guess.
