Lil Wayne Facing Jail Time After Pleading Guilty on Gun Charges

Last month Louisiana rapper Lil Wayne was hit with felony gun charges after a gold plated handgun was found in his carryon luggage during a raid on his private jet in Miami [click here if you missed that]. 

Now Weezy could be facing up to ten years in prison after pleading guilty... 

According to reports Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to the charges during a virtual hearing in Miami federal Court on Friday. 

Wayne is scheduled for sentencing on Jan. 28 where he faces a minimum of one to two years after accepting responsibility and up to ten years if his prior criminal record is taken into account.
