Dr. Ian Smith Files Wrongful Termination Lawsuit Against ViacomCBS

Two months ago TV personality Dr. Ian Smith accused CBS talk show host Tamron Hall of refusing to book Black professionals for her show [click here if you missed that].

Now Dr. Ian is accusing ViacomCBS of terminating his employment after he complained about discrimination...

From Page Six
On Monday, ex-host Dr. Ian Smith, who is black, filed an unlawful termination complaint against distributor ViacomCBS, production company Stage 29 Productions, Dr. Phil’s son Jay McGraw, who heads the firm, and the show’s executive producer Patty Ciano.
Dr. Smith, who also alleges Ciano sexually harassed him, was hired to co-host the show in 2013 for its sixth season. But the suit claims he wasn’t invited back for the seventh season after he “voiced complaints regarding discrimination which he experienced and observed.”
In the suit, he complained, among other things, that “African-American hosts were on fewer shows than white hosts. African-American hosts were paid less than white hosts. African-American hosts were not in as many integration segments as white hosts. There were not enough African-American producers.”

I don't really know who this brother is, I had to google him, he's obviously very well educated, a cancer married to a beautiful nubian goddess. He is right there is not enough African American producers which I why I rarely watch tv, I have whitefatigue, and Dr fake ass phil son heading any firm is a laugh, talk about white male mediocrity celebrated. I am so tired of the infants on this planet. This Nubian King will be okay I wish him success in his lawsuit, the day of them discriminating against us, based on their insecurities are done. Tamon should be ashamed of herself.

I see some news outlets are comparing this to Gabrielle Union's situation when she sued whoever. Only difference is I've never heard anything negative about this man and he's always been very outspoken about making sure Black PEOPLE (and not just himself) are being fairly and equally represented in the media. Somebody's gotta do it so I ain't mad at the brother.

I remember way back in the day when Wendy W. talked about him and Strahan was lovers because MS was living in his apt after his divorce from the she devil he married.

Instead of being bothered by the lime light of Hollyweird go back to opening your own practice. Then you don't have to subject yourself to Yt ppls sh*t.

"which I why I rarely watch tv, I have whitefatigue," <---It's not just me. Yahoo!

@Queen Niyabinghi - I can no longer tolerate the violent, sex-obsessive, vulgar, psycho-terrorism and other morally-decayed visual images being programmed into our memories. Because I tire of seeing Mzungus, I look for streaming content where the actors are darker than a brown paper bag.

Best wishes to Dr Ian Smith. I agree with the poster that stated he should go back to private practice.
