Season 3? I never even heard of this show. I want to support black people in film/tv, but, we need quality in the worse way. We need better black acting, in the worse way. We need better scripts, directing, producing etc...I mean, there are "some", but low budget, bad acting, horrible scripts and shit being produced, for the sake of visibility and not necessarily because the script evokes something that needs made. Dammit we just need standards smdh
this show's storyline is scattered, and the acting is quite terrible
black people are so creative, it's in our DNA and so I get so frustrated when there seems to be a good premise for a black show, but the story and acting are so substandard.
Never seen it, but I'm all for a melanated cast. I have not watched tv in months, come to think of it I rarely watch TV, but I'm will to give it a look see.
Well it is a Tyler Perry production so I wouldn't expect great Thespians. I think he sets the acting bar low on purpose in order to remain relatable and appealing to his core Madea loving audience.
all forms of entertainment cater to looks over talent now more than ever. I assume a lot of these Tyler Perry actors like Brad James and Keshia Knight Pulliam make a great living. My concern, if I were an actor, would be I can't get cast for any other project. So how good of an actor are you really?

I'm in the age group and I watch it. Sometimes they can overact but I like it overall.
The 1st two season was terrific. The season 3 was all over the place. I don't know if I'll be watching season 4
