Turns out Darius is actually engaged to Rick James ex-wife Tanya Hijazi...

HipHollywood has learned [Darius] fiancé is Tanya James — Rick Jame’s ex wife. Tanya and the legendary funk singer were in a relationship from 1989 to 2002. She is also the mother of James’ son Tazman James.
Tanya, real name Tanya Hijazi, was also the woman arrested alongside James in 1991 for allegedly holding a woman hostage for six days while they beat and sexually assaulted her. The couple was also accused of assaulting another woman. Tanya spent 15 months in prison.
