Jury Selection Begins for Jussie Smollett Trial

Last year actor Jussie Smollett was indicted on six counts of making false police reports after claiming he had been attacked in Chicago by homophobic Donald Trump supporters [click here if you missed that].

Jury selection for Jussie's trial starts today...

Jussie Smollett is accused of lying to police about his attack and is charged with felony disorderly conduct.

Jussie's alleged attackers, Nigerian brothers Able and Ola Osundario, are witnesses for the prosecution and are expected to testify that Jussie paid them $3,500 to attack him.

Jussie could face up to three years in prison if convicted.
