Missing Evidence Casts Doubts on Megan Thee Stallion's Claims

This week during the preliminary hearing for Canadian rapper Tory Lanez felony assault case for allegedly shooting Houston rapper Megan Thee Stallion in both feet, it was established that Megan and her former best friend Kelsey had been fighting over Tory in the SUV right before she was shot [click here if you missed that].

Now a crucial piece of evidence needed to corroborate Meg's version of the story has gone missing...

On the night of the shooting Megan told responding officers she'd cut her feet on broken glass, but later claimed she lied to protect Tory because she was afraid he could be shot if she told police there was a gun in the car.

Now the bullet fragments have gone missing.

From TMZ
During Tuesday's preliminary hearing a detective testified that an independent witness -- who allegedly saw the shooting happen -- claimed the gun's muzzle flash went off closer to Kelsey than Tory.
Tory's attorney, Shawn Holley, says that muzzle flash detail is "corroborated by the gunshot residue found on the other female's hands." She also tells us, "It was further established that Megan gave several inconsistent accounts of what happened that night and that she omitted key information to the police."
Another interesting piece from yesterday's hearing, Holley tells us, "On cross-examination, Detective Stogner admitted that the bullet fragments allegedly removed from Ms. Pete’s ankles cannot be located.
Of course, if available, the fragments would be hard evidence to prove it was a bullet, and not glass in Meg's foot. If they're missing, it leaves the door open for other possibilities.
