Britney Griner Facing Five Years in Russian Labor Camp

Last week the Russian court extended Brittney Griner's arrest until May 19 after she was detained at the airport in Moscow after agents found vape pens and hashish oil in her luggage [click here if you missed that].

Now legal experts are predicting Griner could be sent to a Russian labor camp...

Russian law expert Peter Maggs of the University of Illinois College of Law tells the AP,
"One thing I find a little worrisome is this extension of her preliminary holding from two months to three months, because you have to go to a higher authority to get it lengthened."
"You're talking about five years, not jail time, but a labor camp."
