Jussie Smollett Sentenced for Hate Crime Hoax


Three months ago actor Jussie Smollett was convicted on felony disorderly conduct charges after staging a hate crime hoax in Chicago with the help of Nigerian brothers Abimbola “Abel” and Olabinjo “Ola” Osundairo [click here if you missed that]. 

Now it's time to pay the piper...

Jussie Smollett has been sentenced to 150 days in the county jail followed by 30 months felony probation and he must also reimburse the city $100,000.00 for costs associated to his investigation and $25,000.00 in fines..

Before the sentence was handed down Jussie's attorney explained in detail each legal error committed in the case and argued that Jussie had an agreement with the Cook County prosecutor to not prosecute. 

Jussie was at the height of his career when he pretended to get attacked on the street by homophobic Donald Trump supporters [click here if you missed that].
