A good lawyer will figure out how to nullify that prenup if it was signed under false pretenses or based on intent to defraud. But good luck with that. I don't care who comes out on top in this race. They both seem pretty tragic.

This is all very stupid. He could have very little money that she is supposedly getting half of...and I wouldn't have had children with someone whom I know I'm about to divorce.
Sad thing is, part of me thinks she did this so that she would have money to help her mother. I remember when the show first aired and it was clear her mom had no financial acumen and she basically had no safety net (no parents or family to help her). Back in the day your only option was to "marry well" at a young age in that circumstance. It isn't that dire now, though.
It seems like she "secured the bag" to make sure her family would be comfortable with Michael's money.
This is the original come-up, so I'm not mad. Graduate from college and marry a man who can provide for you and a family. She was young enough to hold out for someone she was actually attracted to and wanted to be with, but she made her choice.
She traded her younger years for a multi-million dollar payout. If you're going to be strategic...this is pretty much the way to do it. She can stay single for the rest of her life if she wants.
But this is a game you play if you aren't actually looking for love.

And you could look in his eyes and see he was completely down for it because he was getting what he wanted- a young bride.
He does seem like someone you don't want to tango with, so I don't know how this will end... but for now it seems like they both knew what it was.
Hell, someone in my office is trying to convince me to date an older man I'm really not feeling because another younger woman in our office married an older guy and immediately quit. LOL I think these are revelations that come from ladies who are older than us because they've been on the other side of marriage/time.
