The L.A. City Attorney's Office tells TMZ ... prosecutors reviewed the case and decided not to pursue charges. They wouldn't comment on the specifics of their decision.
Columbus, however, tells TMZ ... "They dismissed the case from what I was told because the prosecutor felt there was no wrongdoing."

I loved him in True 2 The Game 1,2 & 3. He played that character.
He had such a promising career. He was the only thing good in "Cadillac Records" (aside from Jeffrey Wright) and I still love "Stomp the Yard" (cannot believe I'm admitting that haha). Say no to drugs, kids....
