Kyrie Irving Issues Formal Apology

Earlier this month the Brooklyn Nets suspended Kyrie Irving for refusing to deny being antisemitic after sharing a link to the documentary "Hebrews to Negros: Wake Up Black America [click here if you missed that]."

Last night Kyrie returned to the court and issued a formal apology...

Meanwhile the Hebrew Israelites were outside Barclays Center in a show of support for Kryie.

When is the Black community going to list demands to be met by those who financed movies first making us look like buffoons (Stepin and Fetchit) and YT jews like Al Jolson doing black face and destroying our image around the globe? Then later making us look like thugs, gangsters, killers, and drug dealers to the point foreigners hate us before stepping foot here? When will they apologize and meet a list of demands for financing gangsta rap to destroy positive black music? They were the one's giving young, dumb, fatherless boys millions to curse their own people. That is far worse than a Twitter link. What about them being over the banks that gave us bad loans despite our high credit scores and then later stole millions of our homes during the housing crisis? Their mad about a Twitter retweet? They financed our slavery and a top confederate general was jewish. If we aren't walking around angry about real atrocities committed against us, then don't tell me about a twitter link when a yt billionaire sells the book. They make sure they bever portray themselves in a bad light, just us.

I'd rather he retired than fold. Don't say it if not willing to stand 10 toes down on it.

Al Jolson was 100 years ago. Literally. You still fighting that battle? Last time I checked everyone on the other side is dead. Kyrie posted some info that was inaccurate and hateful. He realized how wrong it was and apologized. That’s what grown ups do.

What’s the issue exactly that an apology has been made not once but twice? Pls

I think we need balance. Yeah, Kyrie should be able to think, speak, and question anything about anyone; but we also have to accept accountability when we encourage or support racist, disinformative, ideologies about another minority group; particularly, when that "other" minority group has always stood side-by-side with black Americans during the 20th century. But at the same time, just like Jerry Seinfeld said, the Jews have got to be open to hearing another perspective. The answer isn't to just shut down any conversations or conspiracies that involve Jewish ppl. We need to be able to dialogue with another about each other's differences. The battle should always be us against yt supremacy - not us against the Jews. Ever since Trumpf, and bandits of bigots, emerged on the political scene, there's been an invisible hand inciting anger, disinformation, and racist rhetoric amongst (working class) yts, Jews, Asians, Hispanics, LGBTQ, and black ppl; ironically, these groups skew more liberal and democratic in their politics. All I'm saying is, be careful what you read, hear, and see online. Not everything is a conspiracy, and no racial/minority group should be above any other group. Yes, black ppl have always been given an unfair situation, but it doesn't mean that we should retailiate against every ethnic and minority group that has surpassed us, economically. What it means is that we need a grassroots campaign to get more black ppl active in politics so that we can build economic independence via the federal government. That way we won't have to beg and forgive disrespect from other groups; they'll have no choice but to respect us because our dollars will generate into real power. But it starts with us regaining our unity and faith in one another.

Kyrie still wanted to play and get paid so he had no choice but to apologize. Know what you're tweeting before you tweet.

@10:41. Events in the past shape today.....as today shapes tomorrow. The depiction is still making money, called one of the best 100 movies ever made. Why do you think it's on the list? It's an ideology that is left to be wrestled with today.

@12:25 They have been over, not beside.
History has shown us,we will never be treated as equals. Our unity is a threat to United States, the biggest one,if you quote,Mr. J. Edgar Hoover.ijs
