Tiffany Cross Canceled Over Excessive Spending?

Two weeks ago MSNBC abruptly canceled "The Cross Connection with Tiffany Cross," effective immediately [click here if you missed that].

Did Tiffany sign her own pink slip with excessive spending on the company's dime...?

Insiders say Cross was ousted partly over her habit of making “vulgar” comments and “name calling” on air, but The Post has learned that she also had been under fire for racking up as much as $100,000 in expenses for five-star hotel stays.
During her two-year tenure at MSNBC, the host took trips to Los Angeles and the Super Bowl, portraying them as work trips, sources said. Cross’ Oscars trip, in which she stayed at the Beverly Wilshire on Rodeo Drive for an “extended stay,” raised eyebrows, according to a source.
“She’s staying at a hotel NBC’s execs don’t stay at,” the source said of the Four Seasons-owned hotel, which charges more than $1,000 a night for a basic room during high season.
“She mistook working in television news for being a celebrity,” the source added. “She was making north of $200,000 and she acted like she made $5 million.”

Republican dreams on a democratic budget 🤦🏾‍♂️

$250 - $500.00 per night is not good enough?

Did she not know that even well funded corporations have budget limitations?

Her heavy lisp was very distracting.

She must have thought that she was big time.

The real tea is she knew about her firing days ahead of time and wanted to take down MSNBC before she left.

@1:46 The even bigger tea is that her boss was a black woman.

Why would you parrot the POST (of all news sources) and instead question WHY they put this hit job up???? They are trying to destroy her rep and y'all dummies falling right in line. UGH

@4:42 You're exactly right.

Attacking other commenters does not get deleted but everything else can huh?

I don’t buy this. Of all the people who abuse expenses Tiffany Cross is the one to get fired.

Tiffany is smart. She’ll tell her side of the story when she’s ready. Fuk MSNBC.

Black people will complain about non-black owned companies and keep giving them their money and time no matter what.

@ 6:48 PM… You right about that! Remembering black folk was suppose to be boycotting Starbucks in 2018? That lasted 2 hours cause black folk needed their coffee. What about Gucci? We only good @ canceling each other.

Everybody else does it and it's a non-issue. When a Black person does it, then it becomes an issue.

Her Black boss also has bosses.

Her voice was annoying AF.

LMAO!! Tiffany in here talking to herself. Nobody was really checking for her like that. Does she seriously believe people are going to boycott MSNBC because she was fired? That's not happening. Also, who cares if the head was a black woman, she had a job to do and she did it. Tiffany should get over herself and improve. Her segments were a bunch of silly catch phrases and twitter slogans. Weird.

Wow. There is a specific narrative being cultivated here. Innocuous comments are being deleted. Lazily deleted, but deleted. Atrocious. Dept have budgets and approvals have to happen at companies like Universal. It’s just facts so why delete the truth???
