Trey Songz Turns Himself In After Being Accused of Punching a Woman in the Face

Last month R&B singer / songwriter Trey Songz was accused of assaulting a woman in a New York bowling alley [click here if you missed that].

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... TS was busted at the end of November for the alleged incident. We're told he's accused of striking 2 people in the face while they were all at a bowling alley back in October, and one of the alleged victims was hospitalized.

Trey turned himself in at an NYPD station a few weeks later, and we're told he was booked, given a desk appearance ticket for assault and released.

Trey's attorney, Mitch Schuster, tells TMZ, "We have been proactively communicating with NY law enforcement, the DA, and all those involved. While we will respectfully and proactively work through all the appropriate channels we are confident that Trey will be fully cleared of any wrong doing."
