Last month actors Joshua Jackson and Jodie Turner-Smith settled their divorce after a bitter two-year battle [click here if you missed that].
Now the battle is heating back up because Jodie wants to switch their daughter's school...
From In Touch
Joshua Jackson told the court he is having issues with his ex-wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, only weeks after they hashed out a divorce settlement, In Touch can exclusively report.
On May 28, Joshua, 46, filed a declaration, obtained by In Touch, detailing the alleged drama and asking the court to enter a detail parenting plan and to keep their 5-year-old daughter, Juno, in the school she is currently in.
In addition, Joshua asked that a custody schedule be worked out while Jodie, 38, will be working in Europe.
In his declaration, the Dawson’s Creek star said Jodie’s work “typically involves much travel.”
He said he filmed a TV show on the Paramount Lot in Los Angeles, and “limited my travel to promotion of a movie that was completed.”
Joshua starred on the Fox show Doctor Odyssey, which recently wrapped airing season one.
He noted, “I am awaiting news about whether the television series will be renewed nor cancelled. I will not accept work that requires significant travel over the next few years, unless it is at times when Jodie will be in Los Angeles to care for Juno.”
In his new filing, Joshua explained they are having disagreements about Juno’s school. Joshua wants her to stay in the school she’s at, but Jodie wants to enroll her to a different school.
Joshua said he initially agreed to this but said at the time, “I didn’t know how important school and peer continuity is for children, and especially for Juno.”
He said the school Jodie likes is not within 45 minutes of his permanent home, which is being rebuilt after burning down in the January wildfires.
“Jodie’s work abroad means that Juno commutes to school from my home far more than she does from wherever her mother chooses to live when she is in Los Angeles,” Joshua said.
Joshua claimed at one point Jodie wanted their daughter to go back and forth between California and London.
“Jodie assets that it is no big deal to force Juno to start over with a new school for her mother’s convenience,” she said.
The actor noted Jodie has rented various homes in L.A. since their separation in late 2023. Joshua asked the court to step in and not force their daughter to change schools.
He noted the current school has “ethnic and racial diversity among the student body and administrators and educators” and said the school admin was “proactive in offering additional care and resources after our house burned down.”
“Because Jodie is based in London over many of the school year months, a longer commute from my home will have a greater adverse impact on Juno,” the actor said.
He added, “It seems especially unfair to Juno to move her to a different school and cause her a far longer commute to school as a result based on the new school’s proximity to Jodie’s current rental home, given that Jodie will be in London for most if not the entirety of the first half of the upcoming school year.”

The grandma is the baby.
Daddy has a stable job in one place (if it gets renewed). He gets to choose school.
So sad when coparenting comes to this. Coparenting …with a judge or mediator in the middle of decisions for the child in the middle. I hate that no marriage would see this coming but then any marriage could be like this.
He has a more stable residence and schedule than Jodie. Sorry sis. I think dude is right on this one. I hate this for the child. I really do.
She is being a bitch. Moved the kid out of spite.
