Toronto rapper Top5, whose real name is Hassan Ali, was reportedly stabbed in the neck by a masked assailant during a trip to London over the weekend. The incident occurred while he was in the city to support global superstar Drake, who headlined the Wireless Festival.
According to multiple media reports, the attack took place near the festival venue while Top5 was interacting with fans. A masked individual is said to have approached the rapper and suddenly stabbed him, causing panic among bystanders. The chaos that followed led many to believe it was the beginning of a broader knife attack, triggering panic at the scene.
Top5 was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, no major arteries were affected, and the rapper is now in stable condition and recovering, as per early updates. Neither Top5 nor his team has issued an official statement yet, while London law enforcement is currently investigating the matter. The motive behind the attack remains unknown.
