Celebrating engineer Cornelius Langston Henderson, the second Black person to graduate from the University of Michigan School of Engineering in 1911, and went on to become the chief engineer for the construction of the Ambassador Bridge, linking the United States and Canada, and who also designed the Windsor tunnel...

They did not teach me that at Chrysler elementary school in Detroit on Lafayette Boulevard. It is literally 1 mile from this bridge. The hate is real.

I lived on E. Grand Blvd not far from this bridge and didn’t know this either. Mmmmph.

I played basketball under that bridge for years and never knew this. Shout out Riverside Park.

3:15 It's true there was a lot of ball handling going on at night under the Ambassador Bridge but there was also some basketball courts and a baseball diamond down there. Real Detroiters know.
